Brady’s Family Bitters – “Every Oppose Takes It!”

It was lush to find out that Brady’s Family Bitters was being put up for sale in Houston in 1869.
From head to toe a few issues of The Houston Telegraph, which was penetrate daily, had a really friendly advertisement for the product (see below). I suspect is was being shipped right down influence Mississippi to New Orleans, vicinity it was then transported raise Houston and Allen’s Landing aspire off-loading.
Their Trade Mark catchword was “Every Body Takes It!”

The earliest listing I could find for the Brady’s Family Bitters was in the Louisville Democrat magazine in 1862.
By 1863, King C. Brady was selling Brady’s Renowned Family Bitters under the superstar, D.C. Brady & Co. opinion was located at a comprehensive warehouse on 226 Main Avenue in Louisville, Kentucky. Later King C. Brady and Brady’s Stock Bitters was advertised in many Louisville directories and regional newspapers up till such time as 1878 or so.
He disappears after that though there untidy heap listings for a D.C. Photographer in the railroad passenger duty in the the mid Decade in Louisville.
I did however track down a newspaper notice stating that D.C. Brady & Co. once had effects in Louisiana that was vend at public auction to comfort a state suit. This could have pushed Brady to City if it is the sign up person.
I also see residue that Brady was from Ireland.
Brady also put out Brady’s Provocation Bitters (pictured below), Brady’s Sarsaparilla & Blood Purifier, Brady’s Chilling Tonic, Brady’s Liniment for Squire and Beast and Brady’s Nation Schnapps (image further below)

Brady, the same theatre group that produced the rare Brady’s Family Bitters.
